For fashionistas, or even if you don’t think you are but have been to shopping area lately, I bet you have noticed several key trends this season. One main one that we haven’t seen for a while is “All Velvet Everything” and I am talking about EVERYTHING! From hat, clothing, bags, shoes, accessories and whatever else you name it and I love it!
To be honest with you, my history of velvet in fashion is not that long. I remember one of my favorite dresses when I was little was in burgundy red velvet, kinda umbrella shape dress with black velvet ribbon tie around the neck made by my talented mum. That was my very first all velvet everything experience and then few years ago I bought a pair of black velvet leggings for a Christmas party… and that’s all!! Of couse I have seen lots of period films(especially the posh kind) with beautiful velvet costumes and secretly imagine myself as the main female charactor in velvet :))… Now I kinda feel like a fashion victim here who is crazy about another new trend…well nobody is perfect and I am happy not to be. Ok, I have to admit that I kinda look like a pop singer or something here with a floral velvet suit and the guy singer not even the girl singer. That’s what’s crazy about this trend. From feminin as you might think velvet is to unisex to boyish, everything… boys are welcome to this trend too! From last two photos, you can see the photos were taken by London Eye not airport as several people asked me after seeing photos posted on my instagram!! I wonder which airport they have been to with so many trees around!? 🤔🙄
Finally, the blahblahblah has stopped and voila the outfit time!
