1 Cape 3 Ways

Hmmm… I am really not sure if I like winter or not, especially winter in London. Some of you probably have heard about the famous London winter… Ok, maybe not the coldest (at all) but it is dull, it is grey, it is raining all the time… But the good thing is I can wear my favourite outwears! I seriously have a thing with outwears, it is probably as serious as shoes to Carrie Bradshaw! 😀

Here in this post I am going to introduce you one of my new favourite outwears, a black cape from Dezzal by showing you 3 different ways of wearing it.

Everyday Casual

20161216-1331806766A basic cardi, straight cut jeans, a pair of pumps and put the cape on. Voila, you are all ready to go and I think you can go almost everywhere with this kind of look. If you are an office person, then you can simply adapt it into a white shirt and a pair of classic pantalon.

Ecru Cardi (old) / Straight Cut Jeans (Gap) / Yellow Pumps (Zara) / Green Clutch (Octa)

Urban

img_20161205_123127Sweater, skinny jeans and ankle boots. It is a very simple look but gives you a “not so simple” effect. The simple silhouette inside really bring out the coolness of the cape. I think it is a perfect  look for a shopping trip, a city day out or a date with a friend. If you want, you can change to a black top/sweater here with a heeled pumps and then you are ready for a night out in the same silhouette.

White Sweater (Old)(same but different colours) / Skinny Jeans / Ankle Boots (Sold out)(Similar)

Sporty

1481692867023Layers, cropped jeans and sneakers. This is probably my favourite look of all and my to-go style. Because of the roomy shape of the cape, you really can layer up as many as you want. Here, you probably only see a chunky sweater but in fact, I have a thin T and a thin sweater underneath to keep myself warm enough but of course if the weather isn’t that cold, you can reduce down to even just a T-shirt. With a pair of sneaker, a black cape looks super casual straight away. A black cape doesn’t need to be a formal item as many people might think. img_20161214_0217391r3a2476img_20161214_013428

Thank you for the lovely comment :)) And I think you should try in different lengths to see how it goes on you. I didn’t think I would wear a cape before either.. But I am very pleased with this one. The length is great on.

I love the cape and the various way you can wear it!!! My favorite is the sporty and urban. Your winter definetly doesn’t sound too bad compared to Chicago weather in general especially our winters!
