How To Wear Extra Long Sleeves While Eating

Lots of people I know didn’t think the super big and long sleeves trend would last but ever since the fashion world went crazy about Vetements effect 2 years ago, length of sleeves don’t seem to go any shorter yet. From the summer 17 collections, we can see not only the cool Street style brand like Vetements is carrying on the trend, even the sophisticated chloe and Queen of fashion, Chanel, are in the game.

I personally love this trend, you can see from what I normally wear. I love Street style or you might can called “slouchy” look but frankly speaking, ultra long and big sleeves really aren’t the easiest thing to wear everyday. I know you, fashionistas, probably don’t care about practicality but since I have been wearing them for months, I might just share with you how I wear them while eat my noodles soup with no worries.

1. Wear two head rubber bands daily on your wrists, put them on your sleeves and pull the sleeves up when you actually need your hand for real activities outside fancy fashion world. See the black ribbons on the cardi I was wearing on the photos, it’s basically under similar concept. But remember to match the rubber bands with your big and long sleeves top though.

2. This method needs a bit of imagination but it is very simple to understand when you wear extra big and long sleeves. Pull the extra width of sleeves and wrap around your wrist, roll the hem up few times like how you do with your shirts.

3. For above two methods, obviously, the sleeves are going to crease up. I don’t mind at all, it is street style not tuxedo in the gala. But if it is your concern, then the best way ever is to only eat things come with straw then! But please do eat something whether it is easy or not though.

Definitely not the most practical thing to wear but do we want this trend? Yes we do!

I’m not a huge fan of this trend because my wrists and arms are already very small, but you make it look really good! xx
