Walking With Attitude

Attitude can pull off anything!?

Casual kind of striped cropped top, totally feminine tried skirt or you might call long cake skirt with Vans hightop sneakers. Accessorised with chained Gucci bag and oversized shades. Nothing sounds like they are meant to be together… Of course I styled them this way because I think they look good together whether other people like it or not.

But have you ever had one of those days that you walk out as kind of a “fashion disaster” or looking not “normal” to the other’s eyes? And people especially friends and family start to throw their opinions on you. I am going to give a bald assumption and believe most of us have few of those “not quite right” days even for fashion icons like Caroline De Maigret or Giovanna Battaglia and etc. I have to say as much as I admire their styles but from times to times there are still something not to my personal taste from the first sight. But nobody would say anything about it. Of course they are so well-known and the reputations are really established in style and fashion world, people probably prefer not to say it and accept it all than making themselves sound like fools. But believe or not, what makes the huge difference is the “attitude”- the attitude that confidence brings to them. With that attitude, they can pull off anything and all the traditional “wrong” will become the new “right”.

Style is something so personal and subjective. What makes one feels good might be a disaster to the others. If there is a standard to style, then there won’t beΒ Calvin Klein and Dolce&Gabbana, &other stories and Pinko all exits at the same time and all so popular in fashion. Nobody with normal sense would be standing in front of mirror making sure they look bad and ugly before coming out of the house. There are always reasons people dress the way they are whether it is for comfort, convenience, trend, personal preference, special locations or etc… Β I never think anyone has right to tell people in their faces that they don’t look good or suggest the others how to look better. What makes you think your way is better? And your suggestion will be an improvement? Don’t you think this behaviour is a pure arrogance and self-absorbed? Of course unless you are paid or invited to give your judgements otherwise judge it in your private zone and leave the others alone.

Ok, back to the beginning of this post. Attitude can pull off anything!? Yes, in terms of style, it is if you believe so with confidence. It is YOUR style YOU are carrying. Nobody has right to tell you what to do or change it without your approval or invitation. If they don’t like the way you look, they can look the other way – like my granddad taught my mum and my mum taught me.

Not sure? How about starting with walking with attitude. πŸ™‚

I think this outfit is amazing! I love mixing different styles and I think it’s easier when the colours are similar/monochrome. But I do agree with you that attitude is important. Some days I step out of the house then think of something I could have changed to make my outfit better, it bothers me all day and it probably reflects on my behaviour/confidence. Other days I try something unexpected and am really happy with myself and I bet it shows lol.

Totally agree with every word you said! And maybe if people got nothing good to say, they should just keep it to their selves. We all have the right to wear what we want and have our own personal style. πŸ‘ŒπŸ»πŸ’• Loving that skirt! 😍
